Met Eireann has just issued an urgent weather warning for 10 counties due to heavy rain.
The warning, which covers the whole of Connacht plus counties Cork, Kerry, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, and Donegal, will be in place from midnight on Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain, which may lead to localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
