Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for 12 counties ahead of miserable weekend weather.
The warning, which affects the whole of Munster plus counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, and Galway, will be in place from 3pm until 11.30pm on Saturday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will be hit by heavy rain and strong winds.
