Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for eight counties ahead of miserable weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, and Waterford will kick in at 4am tonight and remain in place until 10pm tomorrow.
Many areas around these counties will see very heavy rain, which might lead to localized flooding.
