Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for seven counties as heavy rain might cause difficulties across many areas.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary, and Waterford will be in place from 2am tonight to 11am on Sunday morning.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties might see ‘intense’ rainfall, particularly on high ground.
