Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for six counties ahead of the arrival of miserable weather conditions.
The warning, which covers counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, and Waterford, will kick in at 9am on Sunday morning and remain in effect until 6pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain and gusty winds.
