Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for strong winds affecting five counties.
The warning, which covers counties Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, and Donegal, will be in place from 10am on Saturday until 8am the following day.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience strong gusts of wind that may lead to wave overtopping in coastal areas.
