Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for three counties ahead of miserable conditions.
The Status Yellow rain warning, which affects counties Cork, Kerry, and Waterford, will be in place from 2am until 6am tonight.
According to the national forecaster, heavy rain might lead to localized flooding.
