Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two counties ahead of miserable weather conditions.
The Status Yellow warning, which covers counties Cork and Kerry, will kick in at 7pm on Monday and remain in place until 6am on Tuesday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain, which may cause hazardous driving conditions at times.
