Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two counties as miserable conditions arrive.
The warning, which affects counties Cork and Kerry, will be in place from noon on Thursday to 3am on Saturday.
According to the national forecaster, these two counties will see persistent rain, which might lead to localised flooding.
