Met Eireann has issued an urgent weather warning for two provinces ahead of torrential rain.
The Status Yellow Rain warning, which will cover the entirety of Munster and Connacht, will kick in at 6pm on Sunday evening and will remain in place until 4am Tuesday.
According to the warning, many areas around these provinces will experience very heavy rainfall, which may lead to further flooding.
