Met Eireann has issued urgent weather warnings ahead of dire conditions over the coming weekend.
Counties Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo, and some areas around north Mayo will be under Status Yellow warning for heavy rain between 6pm and 9pm this evening.
Counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and Wexford will also be under a Status Yellow warning for strong winds between 2am tonight to noon on Saturday.
