Met Eireann issues weather warning due to unusually warm conditions for five counties





The national forecaster has issued a weather warning due to high temperatures for five counties today.

The warning affects Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath, and will be in place until 6pm this evening.

While temperatures will reach 29C today, the warm spell is forecast to come to an end by Friday, with cooler and more unsettled conditions expected over the weekend.
