Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for 17 counties, as the national forecaster is predicting heavy rain and wind across most areas.
The warning came into effect at 11am, and covers Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, and Clare. The warning will remain in place until 6pm.
Heavy rains and wind gusts of up to 100km/h are expected.
