Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for three counties as bitter conditions are about to hit.
The warning, which covers counties Donegal, Sligo, and Leitrim, will come into effect at 10pm and remain in effect at 10am on Thursday.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will see blustery showers of hail, sleet, and snow overnight.
