Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for two counties ahead of miserable conditions expected over the coming hours.
The Status Yellow warning, which covers counties Clare and Galway, will be in place until 5pm.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience very strong winds and possible coastal flooding.
