The last few days have been rather miserable weather wise, but that’s all about to change. Met Eireann is predicting temperatures of up to 22C over the coming Easter weekend, which will be the warmest weekend so far this year.
Good Friday is expected to be largely dry, with long sunny spells and temperatures reaching 20C.
Saturday will bring an improvement in temperatures, as the thermometer will rise to 21C at times, with a lot of sunshine and pleasant weather around.
Sunday is likely to be slightly cooler and cloudier, with scattered outbreaks of rain.
Looking ahead at the following week, Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be mild but wet, with outbreaks of rain mixed with sunny spells.
