The national forecaster is predicting that Christmas Day is likely to be ‘cold and wet,’ but no snow.

The general outlook for the festive period is for cold, but mostly dry weather, though there is a possibility of rain on Christmas Day itself.

This week will remain relatively mild, with temperatures reaching 13C at times, and some rain on Friday and Saturday.
