The national forecaster is predicting ‘unusually mild and settled’ weather for the next few days, but a second cold spell is on the way.
According to Met Eireann, the next five days will be relatively mild for the time of year, with temperatures reaching 13-14C at times. Plenty of rain is forecast too, particularly around western areas.
Things are set to take a turn for the worse by late Wednesday and into Thursday, as colder and more unsettled weather moves in.
