Met Eireann says Ireland’s weather is about to see temperatures hit 22C

Met Éireann has predicted the exact moment when temperatures will soar to 22°C when rain breaks and sunny spells arrive, reports The Mirror.

Even while the national weather service has indicated that there will be some rain and mist on Wednesday, as the weather moves across the country from the west, later this week will witness record high temperatures, with Saturday expected to reach a bright 22C.

Carlow Weather’s Alan O’Reilly hinted that temperatures might rise over 20C, informing his followers that it may reach 21C by Friday.

“Some bright spells Tuesday but a lot of cloud around too, up to 17C or 18C” he wrote. “A chance of a shower Wednesday especially in Northwest but very little rainfall up to Saturday night and temperatures could hit 21C by Friday with more in the way of sunshine,” reports The Mirror.

According to Met Éireann, Thursday will see highs of 20C as the sun comes out and the rain and mist from earlier in the week clear off. On Friday, the temperature will rise to 21C before spectacular periods of 22C, reports The Mirror.
