Met Eireann has said that Ireland might just see the last spell of fine weather before the arrival of winter.
According to the national forecaster, this week will see rather changeable and unsettled conditions, with frequent rain showers and just the occasional period of sunshine.
But if predictions come to pass, the weather will improve significantly during the last week of the month, with bright and sunny conditions and slightly higher than average temperatures.
