Met Eireann is today saying that settled weather may return for a few days towards the end of this month.
According to the national forecaster, the weekend of August 26 may mark the start of a period of dry and warm conditions similar to those experienced back in June.
The forecaster has added however that this is largely speculative at this point and that weather conditions may change.
