Met Eireann says that the weather will remain relatively poor today and tomorrow, but will gradually improve from mid week, with temperatures rising to 27C.
Monday and Tuesday will be rather dull days, with outbreaks of rain and top temperatures hovering around the low 20s mark.
But things will begin improving by Wednesday, as sunny conditions develop and the thermometer rises to 24C-25C.
The latter part of the week is expected to be very pleasant weather wise, with settled and warm conditions overall.
