Met Eireann is this evening saying that there’s little chance of Ireland seeing a white Christmas, with temperatures likely to be ‘above average’ around Christmas Day.
According to the national forecaster, early indications point to high pressure dominating the weather during Christmas week, so people can expect settled weather in and around the big day.
Met Eireann is adding there are no ‘major’ weather events predicted between now and the end of 2021.
