Met Eireann is saying that the warm weather will continue throughout the weekend, with even milder temperatures next week.
According to the national forecaster, the coming weekend appears set to bring in some unsettled, showery conditions, but the thermometer will climb to the mid 20s and possibly beyond at times.
The following weeks looks even warmer, with highest temperatures reaching just below 30C, though some uncertainty remains.
