Met Eireann says that weather will remain summer-like for the next 48h, but things will take a turn for the worse by Friday




Met Eireann is today saying that the weather will remain summer-like for the next 48h, but things will take a turn for the worse by Friday.

According to the national forecaster, Wednesday and Thursday will be pleasant, warm days, with plenty sunshine and temperatures reaching 23-24C.

Friday will remain mostly dry and bright during the day, but showers will develop throughout the evening, becoming heavy in parts of Munster during the night.

Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be rather wet days, with heavy, widespread showers, and very humid conditions, with temperatures topping 24C.
