Met Eireann has urgently extended its warning for low temperatures due to ongoing adverse conditions.
The nationwide warning, which was due to expire on Friday evening, will now remain in place until 9am on Saturday.
The national forecaster has said that the warning may be extended further due to colder conditions expected next week.
