Met Eireann warns of big change in the weather this coming week, with ‘wintry’ showers predicted

Met Eireann is warning of a big change in the weather this coming week, with a marked dip in temperatures and ‘wintry’ showers predicted.

Ireland has enjoyed a few days of relative calm, dry, and mild conditions, but that’s all set to change by Tuesday evening as Atlantic weather fronts move in.

Monday will be a cloudy but mostly dry day, with some sunny periods at times, and temperatures reaching 12C.

The weather will begin to change in earnest by Tuesday evening as winds pick up and rain arrives from the west. The second half of the week is expected to be rather miserable, with frequent showers and longer spells of rain at times.
