Met Eireann is warning of a cold night ahead, as temperatures are set to sink to below zero.
After a bright and mostly dry start, showers will begin to develop throughout the afternoon, with some sunny spells in between, and temperature remaining in single figures.
The thermometer is expected to plummet to below zero tonight, with a frosty start of Friday expected.
