Met Eireann is today warning of freezing temperatures over the next 48h.
Today, Thursday, is expected to be rather cold, with daytime temperatures reaching 7-8C at best, and persistent fog banks. Thursday night will see the thermometer drop to lows of -2C.
Friday night’s temperatures will range between -1C and +3C, coldest across Munster and Leinster.
The good news is that relatively milder weather is forecast for next week, with little to no rain expected.
