Met Eireann is today warning of miserable weather conditions over the coming days, with strong winds, heavy rain, and sub-zero temperatures.
According to the national forecaster, weather patterns will remain very unsettled into the weekend, with frequent showers mixed with brief sunny spells.
This unsettled weather is expected to last until New Year’s Day at least.
