Met Eireann is today warning of occasional rain showers over the next few days despite high pressure dominating weather patterns.
According to the national forecaster, weather conditions will be somewhat variable into the weekend, though it will remain relatively mild, with temperatures reaching 20-23C at times.
The current outlook for the start of next week is for sunny periods and showers on Monday, and temperatures reaching 17-18C at best.
