Met Eireann is this afternoon warning of severe winds lashing Ireland over the coming days as an Atlantic weather front approaches.
According to the national forecaster, it will start becoming blustery by Monday evening, with the worst of the weather expected around western areas by Tuesday.
Heavy showers will develop throughout Tuesday and into Tuesday night. There is a possibility of sleet or snow on high ground.
