Met Eireann warns of the possibility of a big change in weather patterns next week as a low pressure system builds up above the Atlantic

Met Eireann is today warning of the possibility of a big change in weather patterns next week, as a low pressure system builds up above the Atlantic.

According to the national forecaster, there’s still uncertainty about which direction the front will eventually take, but if it hits Ireland, we might be in for another rather unsettled period.

Meanwhile, the current week is expected to be rather warm, with temperatures reaching 23-24C by Thursday. There will be rain showers at times, but plenty sunny spells also.

The relatively good weather will remain up to the weekend.
