Met Eireann is this afternoon warning of the possibility of a washout weekend as low pressure systems approach Ireland.
According to the national forecaster, two low pressure systems might slam onto Ireland by the weekend, potentially causing heavy rain throughout the weekend.
Meanwhile, the weather will remain fine and pleasant until Thursday, but cloud cover will develop during the day, leading to showers on Friday and into Saturday and Sunday.
