Met Eireann is today warning of the possibility of stormy weather midweek as Storm Ciaran approaches.
According to the national forecaster, the storm system may track close to Ireland’s southern coasts throughout Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning.
France and southern areas of the UK are expected to bear the brunt of the weather onslaught.
