Met Eireann is warning of unsettled weather conditions throughout the weekend, with a nationwide advisory note coming into effect this evening.
According to the national forecaster, rain will develop in western areas by this afternoon, with conditions remaining mostly dry elsewhere.
Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be wet and blustery, with heavy rainfall expected at times.
