Met Eireann warns of very cold and unsettled conditions over the coming days, with temperatures sinking as low as 1C at times




Met Eireann is today warning of very cold and unsettled conditions over the coming days, with temperatures sinking as low as 1C at times.

According to the national forecaster, today, Thursday, will be a relatively mild day, with the thermometer reaching 12C, and just a few outbreaks of light rain.

Friday is expected to bring a mix of cloudy and bright spells, with highest temperatures hovering at around 10C.

Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be rather unpleasant, weather wise, with outbreaks of heavy rain and hail on Saturday and strong winds on Sunday.

The overall outlook is for unsettled conditions to continue into next week.
