Met Eireann is today warning of very wet weather arriving by Friday and continuing throughout the weekend.
According to the national forecaster, persistent rain will develop in early morning on Friday, with frequent showers and longer spells of rain throughout the day, with the south and west bearing the brunt of it.
Saturday and Sunday won’t be any better, with long spells of rain on both days.
The only good news is that the weather is expected to improve by next week, with drier and warmer conditions likely.
