Ireland has experienced relatively mild weather in recent days, with temperatures reaching 12C at times over Christmas and St. Stephen’s Day.
But the national forecaster has warned that conditions similar to the ones that gave rise to the now infamous Beast from the East are developing.
In other words, weather might get a lot colder over the next few days.
The weather agency is monitoring conditions closely, and will update in due course.
