Met Eireann is this evening warning that conditions are set to become much colder by the end of next week.
According to the national forecaster, Ireland will see ‘big fluctuations’ in the thermometer as temperatures sink to about average for the time of year.
The only good news is that temperatures will reach 18C at times over the next few days before a big change for the worse.
