In the final hours before the arrival of Storm Helene, the national forecaster has warned that two more winter storms may slam into Ireland this week.
There are a number of weather warnings in place today, ahead of Helene’s arrival. Storm Ali may hit on Wednesday, while a third and yet unnamed weather front may come in on Thursday.
The overall forecast for this week is for very unsettled weather with widespread high winds and heavy rains.
