The Met Office has issued an amber alert due to higher-than-expected temperatures across the UK.
According to the agency, the thermometer will climb to 32C and possibly higher in places throughout Wednesday and Thursday.
The unseasonably mild weather is set to stick around for at least another few days, so people are advised to exercise caution.
