The Met Office has issued a rain warning for Northern England and Wales, as heavy rainfall may cause flooding and disruption to travel.
The warning kicks in on Monday morning and expires at 9pm that evening.
The Met Office is also saying that temperatures will rise significantly across the UK throughout the week, with thermometers likely reaching 30C by Friday.
