The Met Office has issued several health alerts ahead of the start of another heatwave, with temperatures expected to reach 35C at times.
The agency has also said that, while temperatures will not reach the highs seen last month, when the thermometer marked a record 40.3C, the heatwave is expected to last longer.
A level 3 alert is in place for southern and central England, and a level 2 for northern areas. Level 4 is the most serious in the scale.
