The government are set to finally start lifting the hefty lockdown restrictions starting from December 1st, but it appears that not everyone isn’t happy about the unlifting.
Retail, restaurants, general shops and gastro pubs appear to be getting a chance to get things under way again from early December.
However, it’s understood that the Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan gave a stern warning to the government prior to their final decision on whether the country would go back to a Level 3 or not.
Holohan is said to have warned the government that the reproduction rate of covid-19 would more than likely rise as a result of unlifting. What that potentially means is that the country would face even more lockdowns, possibly in the immediate new year as a result of unlifting for Christmas.
Practically everyone else thinks that it’s worth taking the chance but what do you think? Tell us your thoughts in the Facebook post and share this with your friends.
