It will be a Wednesday to remember for one lucky punter as they managed to scoop the top prize of €1m in tonight’s Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The lucky win comes as there were no winners of the main jackpot worth just over €4.7m.
The numbers drawn in the Plus 1 draw were: are 2, 4, 13, 17, 23, 27 with the bonus number being 26.
Meanwhile the numbers drawn in the main draw were: were 8, 17, 21, 28, 44, 46, with the bonus being 2.
Although it has not been revealed where the winning ticket was purchased, the National Lottery say it was bought in the South of the country.
