The good news about recent protests that saw decent concerned Irish citizens protesting against migrants being planted in their community is that there has been little to no violence, rows or altercations.
A lot of shouting, a lot of jeering, but thankfully no violence of note.
On Thursday a number protesters in north Dublin claim their peaceful protest against migrants being planted in their area was halted by gardai.
However, a member of An Gardai told The Liberal that there was safety concerns in the area due for the protest and that prior consultation needed to happen for the protest to go ahead.
Meanwhile, protesters claim that gardai were “trying to goad” them into a row – something that they didn’t rise to. Watch the footage below and tell us what you think:
