Migrant receives suspended sentence for murder of German man and laughs in front of victim’s father in courtroom

A Syrian migrant has received just a two-year suspended sentence for the murder of a German man in September 2017 German media outlet ‘Bild’ has reported.

The migrant who was 17-year-old at the time launched the attack on his 30-year-old German victim named, Markus Hempel, in the city of Wittenberg, causing him to fall and die after his head struck the pavement with such force, he suffered a brain haemorrhage.

The migrant murder, identified only as Sabri H., was sentenced to two years suspended probation on Thursday.

The victim’s father was forced to launch his own legal battle just to see the migrant would be taken to court for murdering his son.

Speaking after the trial the murdered man’s father said:

“He killed my son, admitted that he was acting out of anger, but he wasn’t detained for a single day. He laughed several times in the courtroom. He lives on as if nothing had happened.”

Violent crime, particularly against women and children, and anti-social behaviour have skyrocketed in Germany since Chancellor Merkel’s decision to allow millions of unvetted migrants from the Middle East and Africa to enter the country and take up residence.
