Migrant who sexually assaulted concert-goer at Marlay Park given suspended sentence




Dublin Circuit Criminal Court has heard that following her sexual assault at a Marlay Park event, a young woman has stated she is unable to listen to music, reports Breaking News.

The young woman claimed in her victim impact statement that she got rid of everything that made her think of the June 2023 performance.

If the main performer of the concert is playing the following song, she claimed she “dreads” being in public places where music is playing, reports Breaking News.

During the Marlay Park event, Indian-born Kartikey, whose residence is Tandys Lane in Lucan, County Dublin, entered a guilty plea to one count of sexual assault.

Judge Martin Nolan declared on Monday that sexual assaults are “always serious” and that the victim experienced “considerable distress” as a result of the occurrence, reports Breaking News.
