Migrants were seen sleeping on floors and chairs at the overcrowded Citywest hub, as more refugees kept pouring in.
The Citywest hub is intended as a temporary housing solution before refugees are moved to ‘long-term’ accommodation elsewhere. The facility features 370 beds. By the last count, there were 827 people crammed there.
Yet, a few more thousand refugees are expected to arrive over the coming days, so it’s unclear where the Government intends to put them.
The Government recently confirmed that there’ll be no cap to the number of refugees that can enter Ireland.
